EDUCATION
Jane received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas.
EXPERIENCE
Jane has been fortunate to have worked in many different settings and with people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. She has specific training and interest in the areas of attachment; adoption; play therapy; sexual health in children, adolescents, and adults; and recovery from trauma. She has a special interest and expertise in working with first responders.
CERTIFICATIONS
Jane is a licensed professional clinical counselor. Jane is currently training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Jane believes that each person and family possesses unique strengths, talents, and challenges, and that it is her privilege to help people understand themselves and to find their own paths to wellness.
Jane is committed to being a supportive and safe resource for her clients while providing different perspectives and challenge when appropriate. She is awed by the transformative power of sharing one’s story through one’s own voice. CURRENT PRACTICE
Jane provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Her practice is rooted in attachment theory and humanistic philosophy and integrates aspects of various therapies including psychodynamic, cognitive behavior (CBT), dialectic behavior (DBT), narrative, acceptance and commitment (ACT), feminist, and experiential therapies such as play and art.
